By 2019 the procurement model was settled, but each early Florida project taught us something about the climate and the supply chain that we still apply today. Le Jardin is where many of those lessons were paid for in full.
International sourcing put materials on site that the local market could not match. Local execution made sure those materials were installed by people who understood them — not by trades meeting them for the first time on opening day.
Premium materials are an investment when they are matched to a long occupancy plan. The owners at Le Jardin took the long view, and the specification was written to repay it.

Every Florida project we have built since 2019 owes something to what we learned at Le Jardin. The model worked, and we have refined it.
