International manufacturers can supply remarkable materials, but a house is built locally. The trick is making the two sides talk to each other early — shipping schedules against framing schedules, sample approvals against fabrication windows.
The interior and exterior finishes were selected to meet both the aesthetic brief and the day-to-day demands of how the family lives. Every spec line did two jobs: it had to be beautiful, and it had to be the right choice for this house.
Materials moved direct from the manufacturer to the lot, minimising the chances of a substitution at the wholesaler and keeping the specification intact from selection through install.

Global sourcing only earns its place when it is married to local craftsmanship. On this project, the two sides shared the same calendar.
